The Churchill War Rooms welcome visitors daily from 9:30 am to 6 pm, with the last admission at 5 pm. We advise checking in advance, as Horse Guards Road may occasionally close for ceremonial or special events.

How To Get To The Churchill War Rooms
The Churchill War Rooms are situated on King Charles Street in Westminster, with the entrance on Horse Guards Road opposite St James’s Park.
Westminster Underground station, served by the Circle, District and Jubilee lines, is the nearest tube stop, about an 8-minute walk away. St James’s Park station (Circle and District lines) is slightly further, roughly a 10-minute stroll. For those coming from Victoria Station, which offers Victoria, Circle and District line services as well as overground trains, expect a 20-minute walk.
Alternatively, buses 11, 24, 87 and 211, among others that stop at Parliament Square, provide convenient access to the site.
